Detroit DSA’s annual Frederick Douglass-Eugene V. Debs Dinner will be held at UAW Local 600 in Dearborn on Saturday, May 8th.  This year’s honorees are Metropolitan Detroit AFL-CIO President Saundra Williams and UAW Vice President James Settles, Jr.  The  keynote speaker is labor activist and former TransAfrica President Bill Fletcher, Jr.   Our dinner co-chairs are American Federation of Teachers- Michigan President David Hecker and UAW Region 1A Director Rory Gamble.

People can order tickets by calling David Green  at 248-761-4203 or by e-mailing him at dsagreen@aol.com. Tickets cost $35 apiece. Individuals can also be listed on the patron list for $20 or place a greeting in the dinner ad book (business card size) for $40.
